Orca Health Adds New Content to their Patient Experience Platform

June 3, 2021

Orca Health, Inc. has released their latest update to their point-of-care app, ‘Orca Care.’ This update brings new 3D animations and content to the application, now including diagnoses and treatments for the heart, ear, nose and throat, and the oral cavity.

The Orca Care app is a comprehensive solution for healthcare providers that enhances patient engagement, education, satisfaction, and retention to improve medical outcomes.

This platform provides numerous benefits, but most importantly it provides a platform for shared decision-making that helps create a digital connection between physicians and their patients.

Previous to this update, the Orca Care App focused on the musculoskeletal regions of the body, making it a great tool for orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and physical therapists.

This update is an important one as it expands Orca Health’s content to the cardiology, otolaryngology, and the dental industries, allowing the Orca Care app the ability to improve the quality of care for more patients than ever before.

“Overall, we’ve learned that better patient education leads to better shared-decision making, better shared-decision making leads to better patient engagement, and better patient engagement leads to better outcomes,” said Matt Berry, Founder and CEO of Orca Health.

“We are consistently creating new content to better help healthcare providers engage and educate their patients,” Berry continued. “We want those who sign up for Care to know that they can count on constant updates and improvements to the application’s content and software.”
